Fees

Every trade pays a base fee and whatever the launch charges. 30% of the whole fee goes to the protocol, 20% to referral, and the other 50% is routed by the creator.

The two sides

Every trade pays a 0.5% base fee and whatever the launch charges. 30% of the whole fee, base fee included, goes to protocol. 20% of the whole fee, base fee included, goes to referral. The other 50% is routed by the creator. All of it is taken in the pairing asset, on buys and on sells alike, before and after graduation — the fee a trader pays does not change when a launch moves to a pool.

A non-tax launch therefore costs 1% a trade, and that is the whole of it.

Where a trade has no referrer, that 20% is unused and goes to the platform.

The launch’s side is what Fee Sharing divides up. The protocol’s is not, and does not appear in the split.

Your launch keeps the terms it opened on

Each launch records the base fee, the protocol’s and referral shares and the sniper-tax settings as they stood the moment it opened, and every trade reads that copy. We can change those numbers for launches opened afterwards; we cannot change them under a launch that is already trading. Traders who never agreed to a new rate never pay one.

The opening seconds

A buy in the same second a curve opens is charged almost all of itself. The rate decays in a straight line to the launch’s ordinary buy fee over the next few seconds. The premium is part of the whole fee and divides the same way: 30% to protocol, 20% to referral, 50% to the launch’s own fee recipients.

The point is not to ban bots. It cannot be, and trying would only move them behind fresh addresses. The point is that being first stops being worth anything: a buy in the opening block hands the overwhelming majority of its capital to the people the race was against. Anyone willing to wait a few seconds pays the ordinary rate.

The creator’s own address is exempt, along with any wallets named at launch. That list cannot be extended afterwards.

After graduation

A graduated launch trades in a Uniswap v4 pool. The launch’s fee is collected by our hook, inside the pool’s own callbacks, rather than by the pool itself.

The hook charges on both sides of a swap, and which currency each side lands in depends on the swap rather than on the direction. The pairing asset it collects goes straight on to the fee router. The launch-token side is what the burn slot takes, when a launch has one; converting any of it to the pairing asset is a separate step, because selling into a pool that is mid-swap is not something a hook can do.

Creation fee

Launching costs a flat $10, charged in the launch transaction and paid in the launch’s pairing asset. The exact amount is shown on the create screen before you sign.

Gas

Gas is not our fee, but on GIWA it is worth saying where it goes: it is paid in ETH, to the network. Keep some. Trading, claiming and launching all need it, and a wallet holding only the token it just bought cannot sell it.
