20% of the whole fee on the trades you bring, taken out of our share rather than added to the trader's cost.

The link

Your address is the code. There is nothing to mint, register or apply for: append ?ref=0xyour-address to any page and the link works. From the home page, from a launch, from a profile — the code is picked up wherever somebody lands.

Landing on a link does not bind anything by itself, because binding needs a wallet to bind to and a visitor has not connected one yet. The code waits in the browser until there is an address to attach it to.

What it pays

A referred trade pays the referrer 20% of the whole fee, base fee included, out of the protocol’s share rather than on top of it. The creator’s side is untouched and the trader pays exactly the same total.

Earnings arrive as an ordinary claimable balance, per launch and per asset, alongside anything else you are owed. See Earnings and claims.

The bond

• One referrer per trader, per launch. A second link for the same launch does not overwrite the first.
• Permanent once made. Every later trade that trader makes on that launch pays the same referrer.
• Only before their first trade. Somebody who has already traded a launch cannot be claimed as a referral on it.
• Not yourself. A trade where the referrer is the trader pays no referral.
